It wasn't very effective.

So I went down the coast with a bunch of uni friends for the weekend. It was pretty great, that was UNTIL I RIPPED MY POOR FOOT TO SHREADS.

Here is the story in pokemon terms:

Well yeah, basicly I went down to the beach with friends. it's like a 10 minute walk down from the place we're staying. Unfortunatly I forgot my towel, so I decided to walk back to get it, with no shoes on... on hot tar roads... I got lost finding the place and ended up walking round killing my poor feet for like half an hour and when I got my towel I went all the way back. So when I was back I thought the water would help soothe my feet a bit (i didn't think had done any real damage to them) So I joined my friends in the ocean and messed round for like an hour. That was all good (except I lost my sunnies but oh well) but when I got out I had <GROSS STUFF> this MASSIVE flap of skin hanging of the bottom of my foot. It was only attached a little and COVERED in sand so I cut the rest off with the stanly knife </GROSS STUFF> I had brought down for drawing we bandaged it up and I tried to enjoy myself for the rest of the trip. which I did. Anyhow, went to the doctors today and was there for like 5 hours. Apparently it's pretty bad and is gonna take like 6 weeks to heal.

Still, over all the trip was pretty great.
